Description

Naan bread – a real classic of Indian cuisine. Refined with curry and carrot, naan is not only the ideal accompaniment to Indian dishes, but also delicious with dips for dinner or a summer barbecue.

  • You will need: 1 teaspoon of oil, 130-150 ml of warm water and some flour for rolling out

Gradually add water and oil to the baking mixture and knead into a dough. Knead on the table for another 2-3 minutes until smooth. For more fluffiness, let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

Dust the work surface with flour. Divide the dough into 5 equal pieces, shape into balls and roll out into flatbreads about 2 mm thick and the size of your hand.
Heat the pan. Fry the flatbreads individually on both sides in a non-stick pan at high heat without oil.

Brush with ghee or butter as desired.
