Haritaki - Terminalia Chebula - is an evergreen tree up to 20 m high with egg-shaped leaves, white flowers and small five-winged yellow to orange-brown stone fruits that are used in Ayurvedic nutrition. The powder from the fruits, which is finely and gently ground (below 40°C) in our production, comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan fair trade and organic projects.

The daily intake of 2.88g of plant powder contains 7.9mg¹ polyphenols². ¹ The legislator has not yet set an NRV value (reference amount for daily intake) for secondary plant substances. The amount given here corresponds to traditional Ayurvedic recommendations. ² Polyphenols are bioactive, secondary plant substances that shape the dosha character of plants in the form of colorants, flavorings and tannins.
