Description
The aromatic, loose, fragrant rice comes from the Indian states of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh at the foot of the Himalayas. Indian farming families grow the traditional variety 'Dehradun Type 3' with a lot of manual labor and effort and strictly according to the 'Code of Practice on Basmati Rice'. The seed-stable variety allows farmers to be independent of patented seeds and hybrid seeds, as they can independently grow new rice plants from the previous year's rice every year. Enjoy the pure variety of Basmati rice, which exudes its fine aromatic scent even when cooked.
