Arche arrowroot starch is obtained from the arrowroot plant. The fine food starch is a versatile binding agent, neutral in taste and of the highest fineness.

Ideal for thickening fine sauces and soups, delicious creams, puddings, red fruit compote and as an egg substitute. For particularly fine baked goods such as biscuits and gluten-free breads, replace some of the flour with arrowroot starch.

    To thicken 250 ml of liquid, dissolve 2-3 level teaspoons (approx. 10 g) of arrowroot starch in a little cold water, stir in, bring to the boil slowly and simmer briefly. For breading, mix 3 tablespoons of starch (approx. 20 g) with 2-3 tablespoons of water.
