  • Preparation
    Classic preparation with milk and egg You add: 4 eggs, 180 g butter, hot water 1.) Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (gas mark 3) with top and bottom heat. Please do not bake with convection. 2.) Put the contents of the larger package (base mixture for the cake) into a bowl. 3.) Add 4 eggs, 180 g soft butter and 4 tbsp hot water and use a hand mixer to mix into a smooth dough. 4.) Pour half of the dough into a greased loaf pan (approx. 25 cm) or bundt pan (26 cm). 5.) In a separate bowl, stir the contents of the smaller package (cocoa powder) with 3 tbsp hot water until smooth and mix with the rest of the dough. 6.) Spread the dark dough on top of the light dough. Then use a fork to pull the dough layers through in a spiral shape to create a marble pattern. 7.) Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 55 minutes. 8.) Let the cake cool for about 15 minutes before removing it from the tin. Note: You can also use margarine instead of butter.
